China’s finished steel exports up 7.6 percent
In April This year , China exported 9.08 million mt of finished steel, down nine percent month on month and increasing by 6.3 percent year on year , while the finished steel export volume in the January - April period totaled 36.90 million mt , up 7.6 persent year on year , as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on May 8.
In April this year , China exported 690,000 mt of metallurgical coke , down 430,000 mt or 38.4 percent month on month and decreasing by 2.4 percent year on year . In the January - April period , China's coke exports totaled 3.43 million mt , rising by 16.1 percent year on year .
